It’s me typing. Carolyn rhymes with Marilyn. We’re still here. See? Miley Cyrus came with us. I kid I kid. That’s my niece. Don’t tell her I said she looked like Miley. She’d kill me.

We’re in Florida. If every man woman and child were to drop trough right now and pee in a cup there still wouldn’t be enough urine in the state of Florida for the massive bloom of jellyfish attacking the shoreline. What the eff Florida?

Scott’s supposed to be guest posting today. How nice of me to give him a forum and let him say whatEVER he wants on my blog. I’m so cool that way. I gave him loads of time to prepare. I saved the last day for him. Friday = guest poster star.

Me: Ok, you just talk and I’ll type it out.

Scott: Honey, I’m not ready. It’s too much pressure. Stop it. Stop typing. Stop. You’re wasting your time. I’ll do it later.

Me: I’ll help you out. What’s your favorite thing about my blog?

Scott: Uh uh uh ahh ahhh I’m thinking.

Me: Just say whhhateeeeveeeer you want. Anything at all. I’ll type it.

Scott: I don’t want to do it right now.

Me: Aaaaannnnnyyyyything that comes to mind. I’m typing.

Scott: You’re so annoying. I’m not talking.

Ok, so that didn’t go so well. It’s like when Tempel tries to share her Nintendo with me and I just really could give a shit. Oh well. I tried.

I’ll be back soon with stories of whiny children with donuts in their hands and lollipops in their mouths. Of a 6 hour car ride with my two grumpy children, my neurotic husband (stating, “the bikes are going to fall off” for 300 miles) and my mother shoe horned into the backseat. My sister, aka “The General,” and her husband who’s got a serious laptop addiction. He made me look good. It’s good times here at the family beach trip. Good times.

The Griswold’s have nothin’ on us.

*My sister just read that over my shoulder and would like me to add that she’s not bossy, she just has better ideas. Ahem.

Wow, she really does look like Miley Cyrus!

Tell Scott his guest post is my favorite. I think he’s going to be the next Black Hockey Jesus!

Volunteering for ‘drop trow’ service, ma’am. Never had a chance to pee on someone before.

TOTALLY looks like Miley Cyrus. Tempel and Parker could probably take that picture to school and lie and say Miley went on vacation with you.

The other girls in their class would probably be soooo jealous.

  • Ms Picket To You

I think they SHOULD take that picture to school and say that Miley not only went on vacation with them but also happens to be their cousin.

    Scott is a multi-talented wordsmith.

  • Laggin

True on the Miley look-alike. Weirdly so.

Isn’t vacationing fun? I’m telling you, just wait until their teens. It’s a whole new toilet bowl of fun.

  • SF housewife

Oh my god, the second girl on the left look like Miley. You have beautiful people in your family.

Great picture! I think it’s great that Miley travels without an entourage. Besides all of you, of course.

First off–I love the black and white ensembles! Looks great….=)

and….who–wa! Does your niece look like that little bazillionaire in the flesh or what??

Sounds like your husband and mine could get caught up in some sort of “talk off”…that is if my DH actually would say 2 words to someone he didn’t know….;-)

Whether Tempel & Parker want to claim Maggie as Miley or not – I feel pretty sure Carly will want to tell everyone her cool Aunt Carolyn knows & vacations with Hannah Montana. xo
