My blog is moving. I don’t know the details exactly. It’s kind of like the Witness Protection Program. They’re going to swoop in and wisk me away to a designated location and I’m just riding in the back of the van with the cute agents and their US Government issued sunglasses.
I’m busy. Busy. Busy. Please send pizza to feed my family.
Actually, Desperately Seeking Wordpress is doing all of the work on the blog transfer. That’s not why I’m busy.
I’m busy because my very mean friend Becky gave me the Twilight books for my birthday and I accidentally started reading and now I can’t stop and it’s just a sick and frantic flipping of pages for every spare hour I can find and I’m pretty sure that Scott is so sick of me living with my nose in a book that he will at some point this week put a pillow over my head and put me out of his misery.
So while I’m reading, and then gasping for breath, can you go in and change your subscriptions to Carolyn…Online? Technically I’m moving from CarolynOnline dot Blogspot dot com to CarolynOnline dot com. See? I’m ditching the “Blogspot” part.
Basically if you’re subscribed to Carolyn…Online in any way – either getting it in your email or through your feedreader – you need to resubscribe. I’m sorry. What a pain in the ass right?
I’m sure this will cause untold issues and the mess will be months in the fixing and the growing pains with be quite intense. I hope I don’t lose any of you. If I do I promise to be like that dog and cat in that Disney movie that chased their family across the Rocky Mountains when they got left behind after the family vacation.
Nice…Twilight Series…Am I a dork if I still wear my "Team Jacob" t-shirt around town..OK then how about the grocery store..hey, my son is Jacob..I'm allowed. Yeah, I got hooked last Thanksgiving reading the series..I really think vampires and werewolves exist…have fun at the movie, New Moon when it opens at midnight next week and your hanging out with all the Tweens….have a good one!
Delurking to say Congratulations – looking forward to the move!
…put me out of his misery, love it!
You will also be happy to know that I followed directions and updated my profile, so you will not ever have to curse me (for this anyway.)
Do we have an ETA on that change yet? I don't want to change my settings to quick and lose you in the process.
Love the twilight series. Already have tickets for me, my daughter & my niece for the midnight show. Goofy, yes. Good fun, oh definately. My husband is very used to the nose in a book thing. As long as there's dinner on the table and clean undies he doesn't say much. Lol.

I am a totaly Twi-mom…Twi-hard … Twi-tard …whatever. In fact, Terin, Tonks and I already have our tickets for the New Moon opening next Friday night at the swanky bar-like movie place. We shall swoon and drool and feel like old pervs to our heart's content. It feels just a little better knowing that Edward is actually 100, not 17.
I was that way over Harry Potter…haven't gotten into the Twilight series as yet…today would be a great day to do it, tho!
Going to fix your blog address post haste!
Sandi
Is that the one where Michael J. Fox was the voice of one of the dogs? Because that would be pretty awesome.
Sorry you got sucked into Twilight. Oh, ha! Sucked. I totally just made an unintentional vampire joke. Or an editorial comment. Either way.
First – an answer to FADKOG. No – you are talking about Homeward Bound which is a big favorite at my house. Oliver calls it "dogs and cat" which I love since it sounds like "moose and squirrel."
Twilight? Is terrible. And sooooooo good. Couldn't put those books down. Bad writing aside, I just had to know if Bella becomes a vampire or not. I won't tell you what happens – but I will say this: Renesmee is the worst made-up name in the history of ridiculous made-up names.
Good luck with the move.
I mostly visit people from my blog roll on my site – I always forget about Google reader, which is why when I remember there are 7000 unread posts in there. I have to figure this out.
Don't disappear!!
Twilight is like crack. That's what I've heard, anyway.
Done. I follow directions well. Glad you're enjoying the series if only to prepare you for the movie hysteria to come.
I KNOW!! I'm yelling because oh my god I've read the first three books in under a week and my family is about to disown me. They aren't even that well written, but they are so compelling. I even rented the movie. It's sick, I agree.
Good luck with the move.
Congrats on the move! Do you know when it is actually happening?
I can't comment on the Twilight thing, haven't made that journey yet. Trying to avoid it if truth be told.
You're such a pain in the ass.
Word. Up. Can't wait to see your makeover.
Just wondering why you're changing formats? What's the benefit?
The last series I was hooked on was the Dollanganger Series. Remember Flowers in the Attic? I think I was in 8th grade when I started those. I think? I never even jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon. I am recently feeling the need to get lost in a book, however. Maybe I'll jump on this one…
i just started twilight, too. i need something mindless to get me back to read actual books. it's been too long since i had one on my nightstand. (2+ years.)
Wait…you're gonna come after me?? Cool…..
I'm waitin'…..
I loved the Twilight series! On book 4 AGAIN. Good thing I have girls (12, twins) so I do not appear too strange.
This past summer we spontaneously drove to Forks WA so we could better 'understand' the movies
The actual La Push beach is freaking incredible, rates among the most beautiful I have ever seen..
Yep, took pics of all the key sites named in the book and all came home sporting a Twilight T or two
(Mine is a big green sweatshirt that says FORKS.) I am such a geek.
I hope no one is ever mean enough to give me the Twilight series. I don't need another book addiction! Besides, I'm not done reading the Sookie Stackhouse series and those are bad enough.
