Doesn’t the mind reel? I won’t even bother telling the tale of why I wouldn’t tuck her in. Or why she envisions me wearing gaucho pants and Tammy Fay Baker’s make-up. I think it’s just enough to share the truth with you people. And the truth is: I do almost all the work in this house. And when they’re bad I punish them by withholding my tucking services.

Aww! Did you ever read my post about naming my kids? I wanted to name Olivia ‘Parker’ sooo bad. Parker Darling.

I also withhold when they fail to notice that they are waited on hand and foot!
I wonder sometimes if they realize how tough it would be with out us “mom’s who do most of the work around the house!” I had to send my daughter to her room last night because she lied to me about school work. It frightens me if I weren’t around how would they manage.

Anyway – really I didn’t come here to write that. This post made me laugh. At least you look cool. Even in the gaucho pants. My 7-yr-old recently drew a pic of me and I look like a grandma. That was scary.

Like today when I was yelling because I came home and someone had left stuff laying all over the floor and I was still tripping over things that should have been dealt with last week…Sean hugged me and told me I looked adorable when I was mad. Sixteen and yet so devious…it scares me. Keep a close eye on that Parker.
